If you’ve been to a previous Retreat of TBD, then you are welcome to invite others you think would be a great fit for the event. Please make sure to consider our DEI initiative when inviting people into our space.
While TBD strives to be a welcoming space, we recognize we aren’t yet fully representative of all people. We believe our community has the agency to shape a more inclusive culture by being intentional about how we retreat.
This year, we are continuing our commitment to diversity by holding 10 of our 50 tickets specifically for BIPOC attendees. These spots will be held until July 23, after which any remaining tickets will be released to the general waitlist.
We ask our alumni to keep this initiative in mind when inviting others into the space. Together, we can build a retreat that is more representative and welcoming to everyone.
As our community grows, so does our age range. To ensure a relaxing and productive experience for everyone, we are implementing the following intentional space-sharing guidelines:
Attendance & Logistics
Indoor Zones
We have designated specific areas to accommodate different sensory needs:
Retreat is a container where participants host activities and sessions on whatever they want. You can share your passions by offering sessions. You can participate in other sessions that interest you. We invite you to come with the intention to learn new things, grow, play, and connect deeply with each other.
What sessions will be offered? It depends on who comes.
